“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Satan likes to attack and distract. But then you, dear Christian, already know this. We know this battle is spiritual and Satan is cunning and seeks to bring us down. But the good news is that God has provided us with His Word and the Holy Spirit to guide, comfort and empower.
Jerry Barrett and I have talked to many of you and read your letters. You too are buffeted about in your families, finances, health and frames of mind. You are not alone. We write to encourage you, update you on the state of the ministry, and ask you to stand with us in prayer during a challenging season.
Texe Marrs often faced these attacks. When Texe exposed darkness, compromise, outrageous actions or outright attacks on God, His church and our beloved country, the attacks on him intensified. These attacks came in the form of threats of personal harm, attempted witchcraft spells, IRS audits and even health issues for Texe, Wanda or family members. Texe counted it all joy. He found victory in God’s work even when the slings and arrows came.
Satan is a murderer and a liar (John 8:44), and a predator (1 Peter 5:8). Knowing this, we must actively resist his traps and distractions. God does not leave us helpless. With prayer and daily time with Him in His Word we can keep our minds upon him and draw strength. God will help us, keep us and preserve us.
Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes?
You read about the pressure being brought to bear on Andrew Carrington Hitchcock and the discontinuing of his book. Now we are learning of new gaps in the line of watchmen.
Dr. Cathy Burns, author of Hidden Secrets of the Eastern Star and Billy Graham and His Friends, has had debilitating health issues for decades. Through it she has soldiered on with research and writing to warn Christians of dark or ungodly teachings. Her escalating health issues have forced her to retire from active ministry. She has authorized Power of Prophecy with the rights to continue publishing her highly regarded publication, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated. We will keep you up to date when it is re-released.
Author and editor, Jon Larsen Shudlick, we are recently informed, has passed on with no one to carry the mantle and keep his books in print. A Compendium of Rational Thought and it’s follow-up book, A Compendium of Rational Thought 2; and his last, much-hailed release, A History of Zionism 1897-2020, may one day be lost to history. (We do still have supply of these books.)
Jerry Barrett and I are honored that Texe had God’s leading and confidence to turn Power of Prophecy over to his longtime co-laborers. We continue daily keeping watch and sounding the alarm. We have also been able keep Texe’s invaluable research, articles, programs, DVDs and books in circulation.
We are thankful and delighted that a younger generation who, in the past, were pressured to remain silent, now boldly speak the truth—including some government officials and media personalities.
Faced With Distractions and Woes
Power of Prophecy has lately been facing numerous events and trials in our personal lives and at the ministry.
Our database computer used to process your orders not only crashed but fried! Although part of the data has been rebuilt into a different computer by re-entering data since our last back up, we are not out of the woods yet. We are still rebuilding other parts of our data. Still the daily duties are being accomplished.
Our rent just went up again. To be fair, we acknowledge that our landlord’s costs have increased as well.
Postage increases: In January 2021, the cost to mail a simple letter was $0.55; in 5 years the cost has been increased 7 times to $0.78. That’s almost a 50% increase in just five years. We typically lose money in shipping, especially where shipping larger books are concerned, but find it difficult to raise the prices.
Paper prices have escalated greatly: During the Covid event, paper prices skyrocketed because of the hardship of getting paper. (This even caused paper rationing for our printers.) You already know that some of our book prices have gone up. The cost of the newsletter, and even packaging materials have also been directly impacted.
Making a Difference
We are invigorated by your encouragement and support. As challenges continue, we ask you to stand with us knowing that God is not finished with this work. Please continue to lift us up in prayer; share materials with friends and family, and, if you can, support us financially.
