No two people agree completely on all matters. There will always be disagreements with others as we continue our journey in this life. In some instances, compromise can be a good thing. In others, it could lead to damnation of your soul.

    Imagine going on a picnic with your best friend. Would it be fair to show up without discussing what cold cuts or condiments the other likes? What if one has an extreme distaste for mayonnaise—that was all that was brought—and leaves the picnic in disgust?

    The above example may seem petty and childish, but if the host compromised and brought both mustard and mayonnaise it would have been an enjoyable outing for all. Sometimes, we need to consider the feelings of others. In this case, going along to get along seems a reasonable idea.

Carnal vs. Spiritual

However, there are many instances where compromise is not even remotely possible. For far too long Christians have compromised in their spiritual life to appease others.

    Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:39: “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Many have been led to believe that we should be docile and accept this abuse. Instead, Jesus is telling us that we should not seek vengeance.

    In Romans 12:19 the Apostle Paul tells us: “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”

    Moreover, we are not to compromise when we know something is not of God. Paul teaches us in Ephesians 5:6-11: “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them... And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

    Unfortunately, today’s leaders have been filled with the belief that to get along, we must go along. No longer do they reprove the works of darkness. Instead they are happy to compromise, insuring a peaceful and prosperous future.

Nuclear Family an Endangered Species

The war against the family has been steadily increasing for over sixty years. The works of Alfred Kinsey were lauded as an enlightened approach to sexuality. The promotion of promiscuity exploded in the 60s.

    Because of “free love” an abundance of unwanted pregnancies ensued. This led to the Supreme Court facing a major dilemma—a court case that would legalize the murder of unborn babies. When they issued their ruling on Roe v. Wade, a cottage industry was born and the decimation of the moral Christian family began its decline.

    Likewise during the 60s, with the war in Vietnam raging, many young men were seeking a safe haven to avoid being drafted. Many of those who didn’t dodge the draft in Canada chose to enter seminaries and Christian colleges.

    These men were not called to the pastorate but instead used it as a means of avoiding the war. Upon accepting leadership positions in churches, these men began to preach a message of peace and love.

America Is Sodom and Gomorrah

For centuries there were laws in states across our nation that recognized sodomy as a crime. These laws were in accordance with teachings from the Scriptures. As man has progressed in his abundance of knowledge and compassion, these laws were espoused as hateful.

    One by one, states began to remove these laws from the books. Eventually our Supreme Court decided—in its learned wisdom—that homosexuals should be allowed to marry.

    Progressive thinkers hailed this decision as a victory for all. For Christians, it was recognized as an attack on the nuclear family and an affront to our beliefs. Liberal pastors were quick to point to Jesus’ teaching us to turn the other cheek.

    Lukewarm pastors failed their flock by being weak kneed on this issue. Instead of reproving the work of Satan, they embraced the idea of love knowing no bounds.

    To compound this assault on Christian values, many churches have opened their membership to homosexuals. Some have even ordained sodomites as ministers to continue deceiving the lost.

The mission declared by All Saints Church in Pasadena, California is “to build a safe and diverse community, to provide an affirming space to explore both sexual and gender identities in relation to our faith and other identities.”

Mental Illness Sweeps the Nation

Children are a blessing from God. Psalms 127:3 says: “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

    Parents have a duty to protect their children and teach them properly. With a weakened church system and a corrupted school system, along with a dereliction of duty, many of the children today have been exposed to unfathomable debauchery.

    Who thought it would be a great idea to invite transgenders to read to the children in our libraries? Obviously, it was someone who was filled with Satan and recognized easy prey.

    The best way to influence future compromisers is to start them young. In their naivete, they have no judgment of how evil and demented these people are. Parents who are too busy chasing the almighty dollar and have no moral compass to lead them are likely to say, “What’s the big deal?” This is exactly the mindset that Satan’s minions are hoping will prevail.

    From the library to the classroom, the corruption of our youth has increased exponentially. Teachers, as well as administrators, who have been brainwashed with liberal doctrines at colleges and universities proliferate America’s school system.

    Please consider these questions: How many times should a child decide what to eat for dinner? The proper bedtime for children? As a child, did you get to make these decisions? As a parent, did you allow your kids to make these choices? In all likelihood you have answered in the negative to all of them.

    Sadly, that is not the case in many schools today. Elementary school children are being instructed in transgenderism and sexual conduct. If they are not wise enough to handle the aforementioned questions above, how can they be expected to handle the perverted programming they are receiving in the classroom?

A Great Awakening to Come?

Thankfully, many parents are becoming aware of the indoctrination their children are receiving at the hands of teachers, administrators, and even school boards. A number have taken matters into their own hands and exposed the evil being perpetrated.

    The mindset of “go along to get along” needs to be squashed. Compromise may be the order of the day in many things, but it cannot be accepted in walking a biblical life.

    Our children are precious and must be protected. Jesus told us in Matthew 18:6-7: “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!”

    Our greatest weapon is His Word. We need not take vengeance into our own hands, for these evildoers will answer to God. Continue to reach out to friends and neighbors with truth. By shining His light, darkness shall never win.
