Modern foreign diplomacy is a funny business. Diplomacy relies on a balance of respect, protocols and etiquette to ensure effective interactions and cooperation between countries. That being said, much can be ascertained about the said respect and power heirarchy by studying public pomp and circumstance, including the exchange of gifts.
Having already recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the U.S. Embassy there, Trump still felt led to further demonstrate his devotion to Netanyahu. Witness the following:
In September 2020, after hosting the signing of the Abraham Accords with leaders from Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, President Trump met with each leader individually. During a personal sit down between Trump and Netanyahu, Trump presented a golden key to the White House. Trump gushed to Netanyahu that, “Even when I’m not president anymore, you can walk up to the front gate of the White House and present it, and they will let you in.”

President Trump honors Benjamin Netanyahu with a golden key to the White House, signaling on-demand access to Trump.
|
|
As son-in-law Jared Kushner listened, he and fellow White House adviser Avi Berkowitz “tried to keep from laughing.” “We had heard the line before, and Trump had delivered it a little too earnestly. Yet Bibi beamed,” said Kushner.
|
For his part Netanyahu bestowed a golden beeper to President Trump and Trump understood the message implicitly.

Fast forward to February 4, 2025: Trump has just been inaugurated for his second term and low and behold Netanyahu shows up at the White House to meet with President Trump. During this time Netanyahu has his own message for Trump in the way of a morbid gift: A Golden Pager (Beeper).
This pager has multiple meanings: First, “Trump, buddy, you are at my beck and call.” But the second meaning is far more nefarious and a direct threat.
If you recall, on September 17th and 18th 2024, Israeli Operation Grim Beeper launched and thousands of handheld pagers and walkie-talkies exploded simultaneously in two separate events across Lebanon and Syria killing and injuring thousands. This meaning of the golden beeper was not lost on Trump, as he nervously chuckled asking, You’re not gonna blow me up are you?
Countless observers across the spectrum notice the subservience of Trump to Netanyahu. Trump has been advised on numerous occasions that he is being duped.
Joe Rogan appeared to blame Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the U.S involvement in Iran, saying, “Netanyahu kept visiting the White House. You think that’s a coincidence Netanyahu keeps visiting the White House, and then eventually they decide to give in and start bombing?”

On several occasions, President Trump is seen holding Netanyahu’s chair—obvious sign of who is the servant.
|
|
Tucker Carlson says he told Trump to his face: “Netanyahu hates you. Rupert Murdoch despises you. Ben Shapiro, Mark Levin—they all hate you. The people pushing you into this war want to destroy you. On behalf of Israel.” And Trump’s response? “Yeah, I know.”
Even Trump’s mega-donor Miriam Adelson’s newspaper, Israel Hayom states the obvious control over Trump. When Trump visited the Middle East in May 2025, he was not expected to see Netanyahu. The news article states:
|
“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s exclusion from President Donald Trump’s Mideast visit signals West Wing fatigue with the Israeli leader, The Washington Post reports, citing a senior White House official as saying the meeting was not necessary because he had already visited Washington ‘700 times’ since Trump’s inauguration.”

The theater in these symbolic dimensions further illustrates Trump’s subservience to Israel and Netanyahu. The whole world sees with crystal clarity and it has cost us much stature and respect on the world stage.
