No More Gulags and Concentration Camps?

The erection of a totalitarian police state in America continues unabated. The events of September 11, 2001 escalated the process. If we take the path of wisdom we will recognize that a familiar pattern is being repeated.

Two heinous, twentieth century historical examples serve to enlighten us: (1) The construction by Illuminists Lenin, Stalin and others of the Gulag Archipelago, a string of work and prison camps inside the Soviet Union; and (2) The network of concentration camps run by the Nazis under Hitler and Himmler.

Of the two, it is indisputable that the Communist camps were by far the most murderous and brutal. No doubt, Hitler and Himmler were mere novices in the field of mass control and mass killing as compared to their satanic counterparts in Russia. Oddly, the Communist camps in the Soviet Union were, for the most part, the evil products of Jewish torturers (Lenin, Trotsky, Kaganovich, Beria, etc.) of Gentiles. Meanwhile, the Nazi con-centration camps (run by Gentiles) especially targeted the Jews!

Truly, the devil is no respecter of persons but will use people of any and every race and nation to accomplish his foul objectives.

Now comes twenty-first century America. Already, we find evidence that for some decades, the elite who clandestinely control Washington, D.C. and the majority of state capitals fully intend to ramrod their enemies (Christians and patriots) into the barbed wire and concrete cells of modern-day concentration camps.

This brings up a dilemma. As one friend of this ministry recently remarked in a letter to me, "God cautions us not to kill. But does that mean NEVER? Not even in Self-defense?"

My friend included in his letter this provocative quote from the famous book by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago, an eye witness account by a prisoner of Russia's gulags:

"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand…The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!"

I'd like to hear from you, the readers of Power of Prophecy newsletter. What is your gut feeling about Solzhenitsyn's sage words? If events continue on their present path, should we, as Christians, steel and prepare ourselves to act in the manner recommended by Solzhenitsyn? Would it be unChristian to do so? Would our doing so possibly prevent another bloody mass catastrophe? What do you think?
