Great News! Bible-believing Christians and dedicated patriots have managed to delay the elite's plot to establish the dictatorial Office of Religious Persecution Monitoring (ORPM). The legislation to set up ORPM passed handily in The House of Representatives, and proponents predicted it would quickly sail through the Senate as well. Powerful forces support the bill, including, regrettably, House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, and virtually the entire Christian establishment--Pat Robertson, Chuck Colson, James Dobson, Gary Baeur, Billy Graham, and the Catholic Church.
However, the bill (S772) got stalled in the Senate Judiciary Committee and has been temporarily shelved. Senators received a huge onslaught of phone calls, letters and e-mails from concerned Christians and patriots. This put a big dent in the elite's plot to rush the bill through the Congress. Then, unexpectedly, the ORPM bill was also privately opposed by influential lobbyists for Israel and Red China.
If ORPM were passed, the Israeli government feared that Christian Jews in that country might complain to the new agency that they were being persecuted by Israel's unjust, proposed new law, now under consideration in Israel's parliament (Knesset). That Israeli law, if passed, will make the preaching of Jesus in Israel a crime punishable by stiff fines and imprisonment.
ORPM's mandate ostensibly is to identify and punish groups and nations that discriminate against their citizens based on religious convictions. If ORPM became law, Israel would likely have immediately been branded a persecutor by Jewish Christians who might then demand that ORPM apply economic sanctions against the Israelis.

the ACLU, Freedom House, and the JDL, were all for the ORPM legislation. They planned to use ORPM to punish devout Moslems and crush Islamic nations like the impoverished Sudan in Africa. However, once the Jewish leadership realized that the bill, as written, could backfire on Israel, they decided to backtrack and rethink it.
Meanwhile, Red China, too, became alarmed. The Chinese Communist overlords now heavily persecute unregistered Christian home churches and have imprisoned thousands of Chinese Christians solely for their faith. Beijing's rulers feared that if ORPM became law, Chinese dissidents in the United States would demand that ORPM take action against Beijing's Communist red masters for their mistreatment of Christian home churches. Sanctions against China could have included a U.S. economic embargo.
Given this opposition, Arlen Specter, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, decided to table the ORPM bill. However, sources have revealed to Power of Prophecy that the bill will be quickly rewritten to meet Israeli and Chinese objections. Then, it will be reintroduced and pushed through in its new form by Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC) and his Senate International Relations Committee. Helms, it should be noted, is a 33rd degree Mason.
It is expected that the revised bill will include a provision to conveniently exempt Israel, China, and other Christian persecuting nations from ORPM sanctions if the White house believes it is in the "national interest." In other words, ORPM will be required to go easy on tyrannical regimes that persecute Christians if, in the opinion of the wicked officials who now sit in the White House, it is a good thing and in America's interest.
In fact, the real intent of ORPM's framers was never to protect Christians. ORPM is to be a globally-connected law enforcement agency, headed by a Religious Czar, that will brand and punish as criminals those Christians who preach that Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible are exclusively the Truth. ORPM is designed to be an oppressor of true Christianity. To the powers that be, religious exclusivity is heresy and a hate crime. Ecumenicism and unity-in-diversity are the new catchwords of the globally exalted.
So far, God has confounded the ORPM schemers. Let us be vigilant, however, and pray that this evil bill will never see the light of day.
