Fear is defined as a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined. It has been used as a tool to control the population for centuries. H. L. Mencken, a journalist for the Baltimore Sun noted that 1930 politician’s aim was “to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

    The idea—real or imagined—that politicians know what is best for us is an ongoing saga. In the last one hundred years alone, our country has experienced many epochs, each eroding more of our God-given liberty and freedom.

Fear Mongering Events

The economic collapse in the 1920s, precipitated by politicians and bankers, led to the current welfare state. World War II and the subsequent “cold war” with communist Russia was begun to appease the elite bankers and the military industrial complex. The threat of a nuclear war led many to fearfully create and/or purchase bomb shelters.

    The spread of communism throughout Southeast Asia precipitated other military events in Korea and Vietnam. With the fall of the iron curtain another bogeyman was needed to maintain fear and control over the populace.

    As playwrights would say, “Stage left—Osama Bin Laden enters.” The purposefully destroyed Twin Towers of New York City, through a controlled demolition, were blamed on a so-called terrorist hiding in a cave in Pakistan. The “War on Terror” became front and center after that fateful day.

    Americans were greeted with armed soldiers in airports across the country. The Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) were created in 2001 in response to this act of terrorism on American soil. Full body x-ray machines were installed and every American citizen who chose to travel by air was subjected to this.

    Thanks to the propaganda being spewed by the controlled media, nary a word of protest was allowed to be seen against these screenings. Alternative media, however, reported constantly of the abuses experienced by American citizens. The Fourth Amendment which protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government was, in essence, abolished.

Big Brother Control

In March of 2020 fear was once again front-and-center. Americans experienced another expertly managed incident of fear. The COVID-19 pLandemic was a huge milestone for politicians as they initiated lockdowns and quarantines at the local, state, and federal level.

    Unprecedented controls were put in place, ruinous to the small businesses which are the heart and soul of America. Although it was harmful to large corporations as well, it was nowhere near the death knell every day Americans experienced. Over five hundred thousand small businesses have been shuttered for good.

    Moreover, these closures affect employees as well as the business owners. In the long term, this will also affect the tax base cities and counties depend upon to operate.

    However, thanks to Big Brother, those who lost jobs were compensated with stimulus checks and bonuses added to unemployment checks. Sadly, these bonuses paid workers more than they were previously making and has led to a labor shortage. The something-for-nothing mindset is the culmination of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal ideology. Is it no wonder that socialism has gained a strong foothold in this once great country?

Marxist Doctrine Exposed

One positive to come out of these draconian lockdown orders has been the increase in parent’s involvement as pertains to the education of their children. When remote learning was introduced, parents who had been clueless to the indoctrination methods employed against their children suddenly became justifiably irate. Many began to record the lessons and doctrines espoused by teachers and confronted school administrators.

    One such doctrine that has drawn the ire of many Americans is Critical Race Theory (CRT). Parents from all races and nationalities have confronted school boards across the country demanding this evil doctrine be stopped. Some Governors have even signed executive orders or legislation which bans the teaching of CRT.

    Push back from the progressive left has been strong. Joe Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose critical race theory in public schools, citing “threats.” The National School Board Association’s has requested classification of protests as “domestic terrorism.”

    Is this the repurposing of federal law enforcement to target political opposition? In their attempt to reclassify dissent as disinformation and domestic terrorism, they are attempting to justify an unprecedented intervention. This action is an attempt to dissuade citizens from participating in the process at school boards across America. Big Brother will not allow dissent among the peons!

Tools of Our Own Destruction

By acquiescing to mask mandates and lockdown orders issued in 2020, the government and power-hungry politicians have stepped up their demands. Joe Biden recently issued vaccine mandates which affect millions of Americans. Medical personnel, who just last year were lauded as heroes for their work, are now being fired for refusing the jab. The same holds true for first responders, firefighters, and police.

    Ironically, it is Biden’s own party which has long offered the mantra of “My body, my choice.” However, when it comes to the propaganda emanating from the controlled media, you do not know what is best for you. There is only once choice and that is to succumb to the all-knowing experts. Not once will you hear mentioned the totality of the outright lies told by the CDC, Fauci, the World Health Organization, et al.

    Unbeknownst to many, though, is the fact that members of Congress and their staff are exempt from this mandate. This does raise the question of whether or not those politicians who were viewed on news broadcasts across the nation getting the jab actually received the gene therapy or were given a placebo.

Fear Is a Tool

Fear is a natural human response to threats. Life which is ruled by fear will eventually destroy us. Fear can prevent us from showing love to others. Jesus instructed his disciples about fear:

    The Apostle Paul, in 2 Timothy 1:7, explains, “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Do not let fear control you. Take peace and comfort in His Word.
