The War Against Christianity Continues Unabated

Truth. Such a simple word, but it carries a heavy burden. The responsibility and accountability it represents should never be taken for granted.
True Christians accept this as part our daily mission in spreading His Word. Everlasting life in a mansion He has prepared for us awaits our journey of telling truths.
Our nation’s founding fathers understood the importance of being able to spread truth. They insured its primacy of place in the First Amendment of our Constitution:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Unfortunately, that is not the case in America today. Lawyers, who at one time searched for truth in every case they tried, now only care about winning.
Mass media, once the lifeblood of truthtelling in print and on the radio, has been replaced with a controlled message that the elite choose. Joe Friday, a character played by Jack Webb on the television series Dragnet, was famous for one line, “Just the facts.”
Pick up almost any newspaper in America today, and the liberal bias in each article will jump off the page. Tune in to the evening news—national and local—and key phrases will be subtly added to the story. For those who pay scant attention to print and televised media, this announcement will be met with shock and dismay.
The admission of government censorship was brought to the forefront during the COVID-19 pLandemic. Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, attempted to clandestinely create a Ministry of Truth.

The agenda of this new bureaucracy was clear—silence those who dared to contradict St. Fauci and the controlled medical establishment. A mockery descended upon the use of Ivermectin as a medicine to help in recovery after acquiring COVID.
Controlled media was quick to claim it was nothing more than a “horse dewormer.” Now it has been revealed—ironically straight from the horses mouth (pun intended)—that Chris Cuomo, formerly of CNN, has been taking Ivermectin to prevent getting sick again.
Fast forward to today and more political hijinks are afoot. Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, pushed through a bill at breakneck speed. This is not the normal method in which a bill is introduced by a member, sent to committee for scrutiny, and then brought to the House floor for a vote by the members.
This RINO (Republican in Name Only) rushed the “Antisemitism Awareness Act” straight to the floor for a vote, which was overwhelmingly passed with bipartisan support, and the bill was forwarded on to the Senate.
If this bill passes through the Senate and is signed into law by Resident Joe Biden, Christians could face insurmountable odds when preaching the gospel.
The definition of antisemitism is provided by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). The IHRA Plenary in Budapest 2015 adopted the following working definition of antisemitism:

“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”

In this context, Jesus would be labeled an antisemite. In Mark 13:9-11 He warned:

“But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.”

By claiming Christians will be taken to the synagogue and beaten, this would be labeled as “hate speech.” Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene stated, “...that could convict Christians of antisemitism for believing the Gospel that says Jesus was...crucified by the Jews.” Ms. Greene did not vote for this bill.

When interviewed by radio host, Norm Resnick of Colorado and asked if he (Norm), as an observant Jew, needed Jesus Christ as his Saviour, Texe told him that yes he did, and he would love to count Norm amongst his friends in heaven if he would accept Jesus as his Saviour.

Our Pastor Emeritus, the late Texe Marrs, never once uttered an antisemitic statement. In contrast and point of fact, Texe always claimed that the only way to Salvation was to be born again in Christ Jesus. By proclaiming the gift of everlasting life for all who would come, Texe was labeled an antisemite and his ministry was slapped with a “General Hate” moniker from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Ernst Zündel was a graphic artist and printer born in Germany who emigrated to Canada in 1958. Mr. Zündel has been labeled a neo-Nazi for questioning the number of victims who perished during the holocaust. Canadian officials charged him with hate law violations and for being a threat to national security.
Mr. Zündel was subsequently deported to Germany. There a German court convicted him and sentenced him to five years. He died at the age of 78 in 2017.
This interlude has pertinence due to the direction our nation is headed for those who dare speak the truth. Though it has become a cliché because of its frequent usage, the term “Orwellian” is appropriate given current events.
This bill, if signed into law, could lead to mass incarceration of true Christians. Likewise, it may very well signal the death knell for alternative media. Consider, in one fell swoop, the elite could subvert every truthtelling organization and person in America, all in violation of their First Amendment right to free speech and religion.
Truth is not popular. Our Holy Bible, the epitome of God’s truth, has been under attack for decades and had its message watered down so as to assuage those easily offended. In these end times, people will readily believe the lie. In 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12:

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

The Apostle Paul, in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, warned of people avoiding truth:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
|
If only we can persuade those with ears to hear and eyes to see that God’s Word is truth based on love, grace, kindness, and faithfulness. Paul, in 1 Timothy 2:2-6, explains that God
wants all to be saved:

“For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

Until such time as He returns, continue to spread the truth, His Truth. Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
